Plant Nursery Assistant Manager

Schilling’s Garden Market is a destination property that offers a truly memorable shopping experience, from the unique plants in our nursery to the curated wares in our farm stand. We are located on the Old Bend Redmond Highway, tucked into the Central Oregon landscape. As a family owned and oriented retail garden market, our nursery specializes in hardy perennials, trees, and shrubs for the High Desert region.

We are in search of an experienced individual to fill the Assistant Nursery Manager position. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, knowledge of landscape plants and their care, competence in greenhouse management, and a passion for outdoor work. You should have exceptional customer service skills and a desire to create a welcoming environment for our guests. The ability to problem-solve and work both independently and as a team is crucial. Creating and maintaining positive workplace relationships is important for this role. If you’re good-natured, motivated, and dependable, this job could be for you!

Nursery Associates

Schilling’s Garden Market is looking for a few hard-working folks who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty to complement our seasonal Nursery Team.  

We are located on the Old Bend Redmond Highway, tucked into the Central Oregon landscape. As a family owned and oriented retail garden market, we specialize in hardy perennials, trees, and shrubs for Central Oregon. Customers are encouraged to enjoy a view of the Cascade peaks while shopping for their garden needs.  

We are seeking individuals who are experienced with outdoor plants, greenhouse work, and retail sales. If you have a penchant for customer service and love working outside, this position could be for you! We value the cultivation of positive workplace relationships, so ideal candidates should be good-natured, motivated, and dependable.  

Farm Stand Associate

Schilling’s Garden Market is excited to announce an opening for one part-time seasonal Farm Stand Associate. We are seeking and individual who has excellent customer service skills, has good work ethic, food/beverage knowledge, and a strong commitment to purveying local food is a plus. As a Farm Stand Associate, you will be responsible for many aspects of Farm Stand operation. This position is seasonal, beginning in late March and lasting through December - with the option to return the following season.
