Return Guidelines

We are proud of the products we sell at Schilling’s Garden Market and hope the items you have purchased will give you years of enjoyment. Plants are a living organism and therefore need care to grow and thrive.  We take great pride in caring for our beautiful and healthy plants, and we hope you will do the same so you can share in the joy we have for our gardens!

All plants are assured to be sold in healthy condition. Once purchased items are released from our care, we cannot control their environmental conditions. Therefore, Schilling’s Garden Market cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss caused by insects, diseases, animals, changing weather/garden conditions, or neglect.

Returns & Exchanges

·      Approved returns are eligible for store credit or exchange.

·      Original transaction receipt must be present for return validation. [If you are a member of our Loyalty Program you do not need your receipt, as long as the transaction was made through your customer account.]

·      Plants may be returned up to one week (7 days) from purchase date, and must be in healthy, re-sellable condition within their original containers.

·      Garden supplies, pottery, and gifts may be returned up to one week (7 days) from purchase date if the product is in original condition. Opened product will not be accepted for return unless determined faulty by Schilling’s Garden Market.

·      All clearance items are final and sold as-is.

We DO NOT accept returns for any of the following items:

·      Food & Beverages

·      Soil/Substrates

·      Plants killed or damaged by weather extremes, insects, animals, etc.

·      Items marked down for clearance sale

·      Any item purchased more than one week (7 days) ago

If you feel any of your plants may be struggling, be sure to talk to a Schilling’s Garden Market Team Member so they can troubleshoot the problem and recommend proper care and/or remedies.  You can also submit a form here that will help us figure out what is going on. Pictures are always helpful!  It can be quite a project to dig up items for return, so before you start, take some pictures and bring them in or send an email to info@schillingsgardenmarket.com for assessment.  We are always happy to help!
